If it's an Olympic Commemorative, 1976 Montreal Coins were silver or gold, 1988 Calgary were proofs, and 2010 Vancouver coins were meant for circulation (per coinsandcanada.com). I await the response re:Olympic Commemorative...

Well, that narrows things down to scores of circulating commemoratives of virtually all denominations! Lot dedicated to groups, wildlife, places, events, and so on.

I think we should narrow the date way down. If the answer to this is no, then the toonies are out, as well as most of the loons and a lot of quarters.
