I think we are good for the date for now. That burned up more than usual. So I guess we need a list of countries from this time period. I'll see what I can find, but I have a date with the kitchen today.

Quote: 13. This coin is not a German States issue Ok, that's good, I suppose. I'm not too clear on all the political divisions during this time period, but here are some places it could be from: England Scotland Denmark Sweden Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth Moldavia Estonia Switzerland (Swiss Cantons) Transylvania (Hungarian States) Russia Moscow (Rus Principality) He said that it would be easy once we get the country, so I take that to mean the country has very coins for the time period to choose from. Maybe someone else knows how to narrow this down better. Seven questions doesn't seem like enough!

Sneaky, sneaky...did anyone else catch "do your homework " before it so mysteriously disappeared. Now why would the GM remove it....hmmmm.....well at least we got rid of a lot of countries. There can't be that many left. SN, what have you got for the Ottomans. I'm siding with sprue, that there isn't very many coins once we get the country. We're not out of this yet, but neither is keith.

I left out the Ottoman Empire because it borders the Mediterranean Sea. I also left out Austria because it had a small Mediterranean coast according to the map I was using, but maybe I shouldn't have if the individual Austrian State is inland.

I have a question for you all, that is not related to this round. Is ok to post anything that is listed on Numista.ie: tokens or what have you? I seem to remember Spur got us with a German transportation token way back when.
