Don't worry Numisma, Gamemasters are known to be evil. That's why they must be beaten.

So we got an EU coin not using Euros or Euro cents. I was under the impression that all members shared common denominations, Euros, or did some countries keep individual country coins. Fill me in.

It's not being evil, it's just cheating. Do you think it should be counted a two questions? I certainly don't because it was asked as one and can be answered as one. I guess this is "19 Questions" now.

Yeah, that was meant to be an unambiguous way of asking if it's a Euro coin.

This isn't another question, for the record.

I think it's 1 Q. But I'm not the GM. Besides, 19 is all we will need.

That was a good question Numistma, I figure it had to take out a few countries from the pool.

Anyone working on a list.

Usage of the Boolean operator "or" in a question implies multiple answers.
Otherwise, you could get ridiculous situations like: "Is this coin from North America, or South America, or Antarctica, or the North pole, or Mars"?
Suppose the coin is from Mars but not from the North pole, how is the question supposed to be answered with one answer?

P.S. If you want to know if The Coin is a Euro or a Euro Cent, you could have asked: "Is this coin issued by the ECB"?

You answer it "yes." It's that simple, because one of the conditions is true. By your logic, we can't ask if the coin is from a country in a list, but would have to ask if it is from each country in the list as an individual question.

That's not relevant here and you're also inverting the operation when trying to apply it to this game. Using "or" creates a spectrum of options being asked about as a whole. It doesn't give the GM license to separate any one question into however many they feel is appropriate.

For the record, it's not generosity, it's just correcting what you shouldn't have done in the first place.
