So what? If you use other countries currency it doesn't mean you can "issue" that currency. If Spruett stands with his remark that the coin WAS ISSUED by the Straights Settlements, it cannot be the American dollar, the Japanese Yen, the silver Mexican, Spain, Peru, Bolivia, or Hong Kong dollar. ONLY those countries can legally issue and mint their currency. It would be like Spruett stating that the dollar, which is in use in Costa Rica, is issued by Costa Rica. Yeah, right... To clarify, would you say the coin was "issued in the name of the Straits Settlements"?
