Shall I give this away yet even though there is still one question left  Mind everybody, this coin is from a strange region and interesting history, and always had a tiny population. Another hint, Pyramiden (now abandoned) is part of it... There is only one match that puts all the clues/hints together mentioned above and will finally make sense  Edited by mrwhatisit

Spitsbergen is what I have been thinking, but I don't see any coins in that period except fantasy coins and tokens. :(

If it's not 1993, then it would have to be 1998 as 1946 is out of the date range.
The only denominations released in all those years was 10 and 50 kopecks.

20.) Is this coin a rouble denominated coin from Spitsbergen dated 1993? Yes indeed!  I made a major mistake on one of the first questions, "Was this a circulation coin?" I answered yes, should have been no; I looked at numista again and they said these were tokens! I thought they were circulating coins there... Hence the clue 1946, 1993, and 1998... Also the hint that this was not part of the Mediterranean nor part of mainland Europe, though in Europe. Edited by mrwhatisit

My guess is the 1993 10 Roubles from Spitsbergen.

The slipup on the Y question was a really weird one, yes indeed, NorwaY was the governing nation involved in Spitsbergen, that is the Yes answer, but Russia minted the 'tokens, ahem' so I thought No if Russia had all the mining rights here, therefore a separate region from Norway. No worry's Mr. You're new, but pulling a coin like this on us means...no more "gimme's". . "If'y" coins like this are hard to answer questions you should see coming here, most times you'll run into Q's you didn't see coming. Then you get more than bargained for.
