Just completed the Harpers Ferry doubled die section on CRDieVarieties.com . The 1 DDO and the 52 DDRs in my collection are now pictured with die markers over on the site. Many are not listed on Wexler's site and, currently, cannot be found anywhere else. http://crdievarieties.com/doku.php?id=atb2016pwvA dozen or so DDRs are there thanks to levelsofmadnes, thanks for sending me those quarters! My current goal with the site is to finish the ATB Quarter section, the Harpers Ferrys' will likely be the largest section when I'm completed, Bombay Hook being a close second. I haven't been able to find many Homestead DDRs so that section will not take as long for me to finish. Just putting this out there to give an update on the site and to give a heads up to anyone who has any Harpers Ferry DDs they can't attribute. Also, I think it's fitting that this section is the first major one I complete as the Harpers Ferry DDs were what brought me to the forum back in 2016. I believe my first post was me saying I found the first Harpers Ferry DD (WDDR-001) when I got the results back from Wexler. |

Congratz Tanman! Just out of curiosity what does the CR in crdievarieties stand for?

It stands for Cross-Referenced. When I first made the site it was going to have more of a focus on creating a list that cross-referenced and gave links to other sites like doubleddie, varietyvista, coppercoins. The name stuck when I shifted focus to what it is now.

That's awesome Tanman! I noticed that you were working on the site a lot. Levelofmadnes had a lot of new unlisted Doubled Dies on there.   Errers and Varietys.

Tanman2001 Is this one of the DD Harpers Ferry Quarters. I looked at all 52 DD's on your Site. The closet to mine is CRDR-006. The only difference is 006 has the DD in three windows (Row 2,3,4 window 4, top of window). Mine only has it in 3 and 4 window 4 Top of window     I hope the pictures are clear enough I don't have a microscope. Jeff Hall |

Yldcoin, we are unfortunately going to need much clearer pictures, in order to tell which die it's from.

Congrats and thank you Tanman. Great idea for cross referencing varieties.
Seems like a daunting task that might take a decade or two.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Yldcoin, If it doesn't match any it is probably a new one. Although it's tough to say for sure with your pics, they're a little blurry, it's a good find nonetheless.
