this coin has half of its edge as plain and other half is security edge,at some places the hole edge is plain

also the layer of plain edge is above the layer of security edge,can someone tell me how all type of edges are made, and particularly this coin

Wasn't sitting correctly in the coin edging collar, when formed from a blank into a planchet.

Error yes, but not a plain edge as the thread title suggests.
