1992 D Quarter - Error Or PMD? - Coin Community Forum

delmar New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 07/07/2019 10:07 am So I found a weird quarter and I'm like 85% sure it's PMD. That being said, I don't know what could cause this kind of damage so on the off chance that this is a mint made error, I decided to post here. If it is PMD, what could cause it? The "In God We Trust" is raised (and missing some of the letters), the coin is uneven on the obverse side, and there's 3 rain drop shaped indentations on the reverse.
