1966 LMC No Mint Or Prior Mint No More Intentional Or Accident?

I'm aware 65 66 67 bear no mints the mint stopped putting mints to detour people from coin hoarding there has been coins found with mint Mark's. (From the best I can gather) Also....


I've read many articles about people taking the mint mark from some Penny's and particular being the 66 Lincoln Cent forthe purpose of the strike on the mark.

I found this a while back put it to the side with thoughts is come back around to it. I guess what I'm asking is why take a rarity all in itself with a greAt value only to take a chance on another..money is the drive I'm sure.

Normal coin with no mintmark. It's a Philadelphia cent. They only added the Philadelphia mintmark on 2017 Lincoln Shield Cents for one year only.

There have been NO 1965 - 67 coins found that actually have mintmarks.
