I am sure this is normal but I have a 1979 LMC that weights 3.31g which is the highest I have come across. Any information about why the weight is so high is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Maybe struck on thick planchet stock? The weight is still pretty much within mint tolerences, so there's no premium for this.

Struck on a slightly thick planchet, but only .07 grams out of tolerance so no added premium. For a premium you should be .3 grams or more out of tolerance.Or around 3.6 grams or more.

Agree, basically close enough to normal tolerance to be acceptable.
