I thoroughly searched the internet for Chinese coins and I cant identity this coin. I think the bottom character is zhi and sides tong bao. I cant figure out the top one. Maybe it is from a different country.

It is a small coin only 18mm in diameter.

Looks like a southeast Asian copy of a Chinese Qing dynasty coin.

Thanks. Thats the closest one I could find as well. I think someone filed the edges off for the metal and messed up the top symbol in the process. It is much smaller diameter than most.
