Only had a few minutes tonight as the house is a complete mess from renovations so went to a local Elementary school a couple of blocks away. Its been well searched but you can still find stuff if you look in the less obvious places. Scored me a diamond ring. Well more a diamond chip ring.

I see you made it back alright. Always good to be back at the house. Nice score on the ring. I have some nice finds off the beaten path. Always worth looking.

An Ultra sonic cleaner is for cleaning jewelry in a water bath using sound. They range from about $20 to $200 but you get what you pay for... I doubt you need one unless you have a large jewelry collection that gets worn regularly. I use it to clean my glasses mostly.....

Ahhhhh.......ok.
Since I've still yet to find my first "coin".......and until and if I end up with a "pile" of jewelry as well.......I won't worry about "cleaning my jewels" !.....

Congrats on the ring. Great find! Just curious if you remember your readings? What was your VDI and readout! I've buried my wedding ring and it came up as about 8-10 VDI, Foil with our mxt.

I have an Ace250 so no VDI the meter range was in the Nickel/foil area which is typical on my machine for Gold. I dig a lot of pull tabs for every Nickel and occasionally get lucky with the gold.
