I was taking some photos of my Buffalo nickel collection and noticed what I believe to be strong Machine Doubling on the obverse of my 1914 that I hadn't noticed before The doubling is along the entire front side of the face Full Obverse Close-up of a portion of the doubling Just looking for confirmation and/or other opinions. Thanks!

Sure looks like MD to me. Nice photography.

The verticles on the edge of the eye, and what you describe, makes it look like DDO-001.
Take w/a grain of salt, these early buffs had accelerated die wear.

Here's a close-up of the upper part of the face and the eye It does appear that there may be doubling at the vertical portion of the eyelid? The 1914 DDO-001 photos you get to from the CONECA website don't look like my coin to my eyes. I'm still thinking Machine Doubling

MD in my opinion. Flat and shelflike, seems like MD.

Fantastic photos. It sure looks MD to me, but these tiny discrepancies often fool me.

Thanks everyone Looks like everyone agrees with what I initially thought, Machine Doubling
