SO I saw this admonishment from a mod on a post:

Quote:
*** Edited by Staff - STOP MAKING YOUR ENTIRE POSTS BIGGER AND BOLDER THAN EVERYONE ELSES'. YOUR POSTS ARE NO MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYONE ELSE'S.***

I'm wondering why anyone is allowed to change their fonts size, color or other things about their posts.

If it's a no-no, why allow it?

Is it just an unchangeable feature of the hosting template?

Thanks.

Because it's needed for emphasis in some posts. It can help, but when a member keeps make all their entire posts bigger and bolder just for the sake of doing it, it's ridiculous.

Okay, I understand now, thanks.

Reminds me of the days of WebTV's, you could only type in caps with those devices.
