I have a 1999 $20 Star note with the serial # BL 01124493. Is this worth anything more than $20? Should I keep it or return it to circulation. I really don't collect star notes. It is in good condition and still has plenty of crispness in the note. There is only one fold down the center.

If you dont collect notes I say turn it back in.. I doubt anyone with that serial number will pay you a premium just yet now in 35 years maybe a different story

If you don't collect star notes, you might try selling it here or on ebay to see if someone else wants it for it's starryness.

.....some people collect stars for no other reason than it's just a star note.....
