The coin is highly worn, likely been washed a few times as the browning has been mostly removed. That is most noticeable on the obverse. Numerous field and device abrasions evenly spread out. On the reverse, the cornice and steps are the bottom of the memorial are highly worn. I would classify this as a "spender".

To be an AU coin, it would have to only have a trace of wear and some cartwheel luster remaining. I can 100% guarantee it has no cartwheels showing.
