Does anyone have a source that pins down the particular variety of 1858 dime that has the two diagnostic markers on just the obverse of the dime,- namely the doubled A in CANADA and the doubled D in DEI ?

John1, great site! The answer was there, with pictures. Silverwolf, I waited several days, and my questions were not answered. I figured it might be better to reframe my goal in a single question, and that worked. I got my answers in little pieces - with pictures. So thanks to the both of you. I really appreciate your help. Bill.
