Can anybody help me with identifying this token? I looked it up online and it looks like it is a Wolfe, Spies, and Clark New York token, but that's all I know. Is it a store card or am I totally wrong? Haha!

Also, I noticed the token has many varieties, some of which are pretty rare and expensive. Any help would be greatly appreciated in both the historical context of the token and the identification of it. Thanks!

Yes, you're correct. This is a relatively rare and desirable storecard, dating to the 1820's. There are some different varieties, and Rulau listed these in his early token catalogs. The value of these is enhanced by virtue of their promoting Jackson, giving these tokens appeal to collectors of political pieces, too.
