Hi I need help with this I've got a 2018 Stonehenge 10p coin on both sides of the coin there's a defect with the print both sides in the same place is there any worth in it all comments will be greatly appreciated thanks
At first it looked to me like a Grease Filled Die, and with the minimal effect it had on the coin, it wouldn't add much, if any extra value.
But, I see some sort of pattern in the low spots that could mean it was struck through something else. Although with the positioning, you would think the object (cloth maybe) would have also covered a portion of the base of E II's bust. If it was struck through cloth, it would increase its value.
Sorry I can't be of more help. The experts will surely comment and point you in the right direction.
There are some VERY knowledgeable people on this site. You will get responses from experts in error coins, and probably soon. They'll point you in the right direction regarding the piece and it's value.
