Rocky, every field of study including numismatics has its own lexicon.
"Press doubled" is not a term shared or understood by other collectors.
Check this site for types of doubling in terms that are understood and accepted.

I, also, was going to ask the OP what he meant. As I have previously, I will post some links that describe different types of common "doubling". Folks should save the links .. they are good references:

And, finally, a good reference for how dies are made. It gives everyone a general idea of the process and where glitches can occur:

Enjoy!

thank you all so much for that info. I have read that now about a dozen times. I have information which I am not allowed to share. one thing that is very inportant. the difference between the american knuckle head press and the canadian knuckle head press in winnipeg. they are completely different presses. the presses in ottawa are also different again. I can tell you the make of the presses in ottawa. I can tel you how many coins it will produce in one hour. I also can tell you the new pressing rules. it would shock you to know exactly how few a coins are pressed before dies are changed. I hope that later this can all be explained thoroughly to everybody. I dont want to upset any body. there is some new variety of coin out there. they need to be listed so we can all collect them. one more thing I have loads of pictures of actual Machine Doubling. some of what is being classed here as Machine Doubling is not. when every thing is done. I will share lots of pictures here. wait till you see what Machine Doubling really is. believe me you can see it no problem. that will help every body
