1984 Over An 83 D Dime?

I appreciate all the feedback I learn more and more each day and I have so so many coins that I have set aside for further research and most I hear the same die deteriation, Machine Doubling. And other than I thought it may have been bu but theres maybe 10% or less of my nest egg of errors if you will that have in fact been thee error in question. And most usually I hear what I dont have either becuase I have Nothing or I failed at capturing the error in a picture. But I am learning at a slow slow rate, I thank you all much I will post more coins I believe to be key date errors, just looking to gain as much knowlege as possible before I send off to be graded I would prefer not to not send in some random coins with near face value as oppposed to sendingvin a worthy coin to receive a grade

You hear those a lot because the mint is actually pretty good on their quality control catching errors, so legitimate errors are rare. Die Deterioration and Machine Doubling are simply the result of normal "wear and tear". In the case of Die Deterioration wear to the dies which is just a normal part of their life, and in Machine Doubling wear or looseness in the press itself than can be corrected by just tightening up some bolts. Since these are not errors but just part of normal production they are not caught and removed so they are very common. So most "finds" turn out to be the common items and not the "rare" ones.
