When I was nine I bought a Lincoln Cent in a coin and stamp shop that was inside a department store called Times Square. The store wasn't actually in Times Square but in Levittown L.I. Anyone ever do that as a kid and can you remember the name of the store? I can't remember the date of the coin I bought but I believe I paid 35cents for it. Which was the same as a slice of pizza and hot pretzel.
Rest in Peace

Hey Longnine..!

Yep, I did. Whenever my parents would go to San Francisco I would try and talk them into taking me to "Woolworths" Department store on the cornor of Powell and Market streets. I always walked away with something different. I bought my first Liberty Head Nickel there. (VBG) That was a long time ago.. 1956 or 1957.
