Good Afternoon All!

I picked up a box of pennies today to do some hunting and in the first roll, I came across the coin below.. Looks like it's a D over something.. Just not sure what.. Any ideas? or is it just some kind of damage?

TIA!

to the CCF! It's not an over mintmark. Hard to tell from your pic but possibly an RPM or it took a hit at the top of the devise.

Hi Jim! Thanks for the welcome and the fast response! I added some other photos.. I figured it was just damage, but it never hurts to ask.. I never know where to draw the line between damage and other things. haha

Welcome to CCF! I agree with Jim. Difficult to tell if it's an RPM or not. It kinda does look like an RPM to me hard to tell for sure. Better, clear pic would help.

Cheers,

Rookie

Looks like a well placed hit and a corrosion spot. Definitely PSD.
