Apparent Toning Of Coins. What Happened ?

ikuna Valued Member Trinidad And Tobago 489 Posts	Posted 08/24/2019 12:17 pm These coins were recently given to me. They are all reddish in appearance and various colors can be seen. Can anyone suggest what happened ? I suspect they my have been dipped in a chemical to clean in ignorance or maybe they were kept in a container which reacted chemically over a period of time hence causing this "Toning Effect".
