I have a Falkland Island One Pound note, dated 1st January 1982, and uncirculated, good crisp condition. Given me by my grandfather years ago (he was born there). Anyone kind enough to give me an idea of value as I'm thinking of gifting it to my new grandson.

Hello there TomSpud, a beautiful note easily worth £60-80 UK or maybe $80-100 US.
A highly collectable banknote and well worth looking after.
Nice gift for your grandson

Great stuff TomSpud
Your note is one of the last older style designs too, the more modern Queen Elizabeth 2 portrait banknotes came a year or two later.
