Hello, I have two 1970D Lincoln cents, however one mint Mark appears to be slightly lower than the other, I checked NGC and I don't think it is a variety. If someone can explain this to me that would be much appreciated.
to CCF fellow Michigander. Mint mark placement varies, because until 1990 the mint mark was placed by hand on each working die. Yours is within mint tolerance,so not an error or variety. John1
