I have a number of tubes with AU memorials in them. Trying to get through them, put the coins off to the bank and re-use the tubes for better coins. This tube was marked 1965. It had one 1965 in it and 49 1964. I might have labeled it differently. Pulled out a DDO-011 (I'll do a separate post) and this one, the big DDR for the year. Well, I'd venture to say it's one of the big DDR's for the whole series as it's a dandy. 1964 Lincoln Memorial cent doubled die DDR-001, FS-801

Finished going through the AU rolls. Here's the second of these I found in another roll marked 1965. It's a little earlier die stage but not in quite as nice condition.

Great finds tropicalbats! I have one of these, but I didn't find it. I bought one as a hole filler on ebay for 7.00.

Love it and your double headed snake analogy. Congrats.
