So, I have read and seen several post about the 64 Kennedy. I still haven't seen or read an ending. My research hasn't found an answer. I have collected several 1964 half dollars that seem to have the reverse side of the "Kennedy hair" type ( broken rays, the "I" and even the die marks, yet, the face side isn't the hair type. Someone even suggested these are transitions. Does anyone actually know? Any value in these?
All comments are welcome. Thanks.

The first 2 photos have the broken rays; the g without a top bar, and die marks between the f and d on halfdollar.
Unlike the last photo. Most 64 coins I have and have seen are like the last photo.
Any suggestions?

Well for starters the "accented hair" variety coins are all proof, and your coins are not proofs.

The Accented reverse is the RDV-001 however it was also used on regular business strikes and were paired with the ODV-002. It gets a little more interesting, the same RDV-001 (Broken rays, straight G) dies were also used at the Denver mint. I think that is where the real mistake was made.

Thanks for all the help. This is the best forum for coins by far. Forgive me for not being more clear about my question
Everyone here is so helpful
I use to collect years ago but work and raising a family became priority
I'm now at a point where I can start to begin my favorite hobby.

The 64 D's with the RDV-001 can carry a small premium. Not much tho.
