Hello everyone! I am new to the forum ans also new as a coin collector. I have purchased over the past 2 years quite a few coins - over 100 - some have been good buys/investments, but most not so. I can just about break even on some, but I anticipate a loss on the rest, which I'd like to minimize as much as possible I'd like to sell off the latter, is there an auction place where I can list them and get the maximum I can without exorbitant fees?

By the way, they all have been graded - mostly by PCGS. The NGC ones were purchased already slabbed. Any advise on moving these would be helpful in untying my funds.

I'm no expert but your best bet is to most likely individually sale each item which can take some time.probably better not to use ebay because you will lose money on fees.also if there's any local coin shows or conventions they are loaded with buyers.craigslist always works great for me.just meet whom ever your selling to at a bank or somewhere secure for safety.hope that hepls

to CCF. What are some of the better ones? Depending on the values you may use ebay or an auction house.

It's difficult to give you a firm idea of options when we know no specifics about what you would be selling.

Tell us -or better - show us some photos of what you consider your best pieces.

US coins or World or Both? Modern or classic or both? Cheap or expeensive etc. It's impossible to give answers without knowing what kinds of coins.

You're going to have to pay some sort of fee basically anywhere.

Coins shows you would be selling to dealers, if you get seen trying to sell to other collectors you get kicked out and possibly banned.

Craigslist I would never do for coins. Anything like coins or jewelry the chances of being followed home by the buyer or a second person scouting you out is much higher with things like that as they will assume you have more at home.

@numicraze, it sounds like you may have already learned a good lesson about doing research before your buy . Most of us have lessons learned like that.
You've gotten a lot of good responses here. If your coins are fairly common, and you have the time to sell them on ebay, that may turn out to be best. You know exactly how much you will lose in fees (a little over 13%), and you can easily do the research on ebay to know what each coin is likely to sell for. You can start out listing them as Buy It Now at the same price you paid, and if that doesn't work, can drop the price, or add Best Offer.
If getting cash back quickly is more important, take them to a dealer, and take a deep breath.
If they are high value, then maybe use an auction house.
Again, if you can give us an idea of what you have, you will get better answers.

Looking back at the original post and seeing they are all certified, indeed that could be a good way to go.
