I picked these up yesterday These are the seller's Trueview certificate pics. I will post real picks upon arrival in a couple days. I've been trying to complete a set of 1950 - 1958 colorfully toned proof Lincoln cents. Some photos are in the archives here. But, when I saw this 1940 Lincoln Cent my interests were widened to now include the 30s and 40s for proofs as well. Once you find that one piece the ball is set in motion it seems.

Glad to see you were able to win those, I knew you wanted them. Both are stellar examples.

Nice. I wonder why PCGS does not put the grade on those photos? John1

I was watching that Ike, but I couldn't bring myself to pay more than $25 for it. I knew it would go for more, so I took it off my watch list.

@ Darth Morgan I wasn't going to get it because that's the price I'd pay if it were for me with quest. color..... But, I plan on giving it as a X-mas gift so I went all out much more than I would've if it were going to be for me. The Lincoln Cent is my gift to me Lol. I just get to look at the Ike for a few months before wrapping it.

Toned Ikes don't seem to come around that often, even tougher with that much color. Glad to see it was you who found him!

Both are amazing! They look better in hand than in the ebay photos! That Ike is insane!

I know. lol. I'll get the reverse of the Ike up later tomorrow when I have better light. I'm in the auction for the toned proof 65 Ike dollar(the bicentennial) too from the same seller. We'll know Sunday if I get it.

I just checked out the Bi-Cen,it looks sweet. I like the reverse alot, the pastel colors look amazing. The obverse has a beautiful assortment of swirling reds, blues, and greens. I wish you only the best of luck. I found an IHC Proof that I like, it's next on my hitlist. I'll send you the listing shortly. I just bought a Mid VF Draped Bust Half today, so that kinda drained by pockets a bit.
