Hi,

Looking through a roll of 1969S Lincoln Memorial cents looking for a double die yet found this 1968D in the roll.

I've included a full picture of the obverse and reverse.

On the Obverse, the spacing between Liberty and In God We Trust from the rim is very close yet it doesn't look like it was struck off center to me. Three pictures of Obverse posted

On the Reverse, I don't see the same phenomenon yet the S on States and E in E Pluribus, seem to had crude in the die and were not sharply struck. Two photos attached, one has the 1968 coin on the bottom and a 1969S coin on the top for comparison.

Thanks for your help in figuring this out!

The hub was changed between 1968 and 1969, so after looking at lots of 1969 cents an example from 1968 is going to look odd. Your coin appears normal to me though, for 1968.

Possibly over polished, or very worn die.
