Got a 1970 Lincoln S DDO that is brick red in color. Just curious if the color is good or bad for its value.

To CCF! Just a Environmentally Damaged coin. PSD. Not a good thing, since it's not an error coin. Worth face value.

It's also not a Doubled Die Obverse etheir.

If you want to look at real Doubled Dies, go to http://www.doubleddie.com.

Do not see a DDO from the photos, but there are about 50 known from this year and mint mark so would need photos of the doubling area to figure it out. That said, color can add value to uncirculated coins, but rarely to circulated coins. I'm thinking here you just have a cent with no color value added nor a DDO. Always hopeful additional pics or something prove me wrong.
