a recent acquisition I made on a recent trip, it's nothing super rare but when I saw it in the shop I liked it so it made its way home with me.

Very difficult to make out the year so that might be a project for later but regardless a nice graded coin

Enjoy!

Tough to get them to go MS-65 or higher on these, so you've got a very good grade there. Something about how they look or whatever generally seems to dial down the grade to MS 63 or 64 even on really, really nice coins.

Nice pick up. Yes not super rare, but rare in that grade.

Probably much more than I should have $100, but again I liked it and it was one of the cheaper graded error coins that the shop had.

This site goes into much detail on the struck through capped die errors, much better than I could ever write up in a couple of lines :)
