wanted a few opinions on what could have caused these marks. Notice on the obverse side each mark has large Cuds at the begin the strikes down but thats not the case for the marks on reverse.

The damage might be from a teeth wheel of a cigarette lighter.

Could be so many things but definitely not from the mint like that, good question and pictures though!

I would say it was struck through, If it weren't for the raised areas at the end of each scratch. The scratches do not appear to have raised rims.
The MM appears to have a die chip, and the "E" in ONE on the reverse appears to have a die crack.

We may make guesses, but it is not possible to determine what exactly was the cause except that it is a post strike damage.
