I have a 1951 D cent with part of the rim missing and different marks/images on the coin. Could someone take a look and see if they see what I see?

Your coin looks like it's been removed from a "Lucky Penny" holder. The rim was damaged when it was pressed in. That would account for the flattened rim and features.

It appears to me that originally the coin was struck slightly off center, then for some unknown reason someone hammered the rim by the date. Shame.
