Hoping to get some feedback on this 1969 S possible DDO. I've looked into the difference between machine error and an actual DDO and if you look closely it does seem that the letters from underneath aren't just a flat impression below, but they are thick, even coming up to wrap around the top letters in some areas. Also, this is the case with the mint mark too, which might be an issue, as I've read that the mint mark was added separately for these coins. But couldn't this possibly be a DDO as well as an RPM? Anyway, I know this would be an unbelievable find if it's for real, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I'll include more pics soon, and I'll add for now that there is only slight doubling in other areas, although not like I've seen on other 1969 S DDO examples where the LIBERTY doubling can be seen "from across the room." Appreciate any feedback everyone. Cheers!

The true 1969-S has strong doubling on all of LIBERTY, IGWT and the date. I've seen examples that have Machine Doubling as well as the Die Doubling, but it's easy to tell one from the other.

Also note that the Mint Mark is NOT doubled. It may show Machine Doubling on a true '69-S DDO, but only flat and shelf like. This is because the S was added to the already doubled die.

The image is THE 1969-S DDO.
