Hey All - Here's another rare coin from my stash. Pretty odd but nice looking coin. Appears to be copper on one end and nickel on the other. I think!

to CCF. That is environmental damage, not rare and not an error. Most likely a metal detector find. Spendable. Hope you stick around and post more coins from your stash.

Your coins color is a result of environmental exposure that has altered the metal surfaces - most collectors consider it damaged.

Welcome!
not only what they said, but circulated Jeffersons have very few collectable dates (not counting any rare oddities); even the sliver ones from the war are only a few bucks. Even uncirculated in most dates is < 10 bucks. For some reason, this coin has not taken off with collectors even as the oldest fast approach 100 years.

It is interestingly colored.

Yes, I agree, I would like to see more of your coin stash. Keep working on your photo skills, get them as sharp as you can, and don't be afraid to ask questions (that's how we all learn).

Welcome to the forum! Worth and value are two separate things. One being monetary, the other personal. If you like it than it's priceless.
