Curious if I have something valuable here. In 2 days of internet research have found 0 data on this coin being in auction. The 1987 was not intended for circulation and PL designations through the Kennedy series is really rare and the few that have been discovered have been mostly from the Denver Mint. This coin is also really rare in MS-66 or above. There was 1 1964-D that made it to auction with the PL Designation and it sold for like 4500.00 or so. It is the top pop coin in NGC Pop Report at MS66. Just curious if anyone thought I might have something that will be worth sending to auction.

Thanks

Jeremy

That's one where looking into Great Collections would probably be your best bet or just put it on ebay as a BIN

This 1988 D half dollar is graded MS66 PL. Its prices are a little less than half of that of the 1987 half dollar. It sold for $123, and it has an NGC population of 3, same as yours. I'd guess yours could sell for $200-$300, but I'm by no means an expert on these types of auction prices. Hope this information helps.
