Hmmm...I have nearly the exact same coin. 1936 no mint mark, and only the top part of the word "Liberty" on the obverse is showing. Could be a coincidence...or perhaps a minting error? I'm new to this forum, so I'm not sure if anyone is still following this thread. If someone responds then I will work on uploading a photo or two. Thanks.
