I just picked up $62 in CR nickels at the bank. Are there any dates/MM worth keeping besides the 40% 42-45s? Thank you for any help!

Even in the past couple years, I pull UNC+ '82&3 P&Ds. If you've got reselling on

your mind, I've sold hundreds of 4-coin sets for $20, inc. shipping. I see rolls

of the '82 going for more than 100.
Rest in Peace

Pre-60 in legitimate MS are also worth nabbing, but you do need to be able to grade to MS.

Ask us here with photos and we will be happy to grade.

That is cool that you are hunting nickels. By the way, World War 2 nickels are 35% silver, not 40%. I just wanted to make you aware of that. Also, I keep all pre-1960 nickels, but that is how I do it. Have fun hunting those nickels!

I should add that you will find plenty of Buffalo nickels and a few Liberty nickels that are keepers.

You will also find foreign coins, mostly Canadian.

JonNickelCollector, actually it depends on the region. I do find canadians of course, but for me Bahama nickels turn up more frequently. I suppose Texas and Claifornia see more Mexican coins ect. and up near the norther border canadian coins are more heavy. canadian cents are pretty common here in florida for instance, but in other denominations I get more Caribbean coins than Canadian coins. Bahamas, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, ect. I also get a lot of Panama.
