Hello, I have a 1972 off center penny with the "I" in liberty at an angle, is this a BIE die break?. The edge width above Lincoln's head is also much thinner than the rest of the edge .(normal wear & tear?) Worth saving? Thanks!

As to the I in LIBERTY, that is just damage that was most likely caused by a coin rolling machine or other type of coin counter that spins the coin. I have a few where the date was affected in the same way.

Also, this coin is not off-center because that requires both sides to be off in corresponding degree and direction. The reverse looks normal, so yours would be called a "misaligned die." That's the term for only one side being off. Unfortunately, yours is too minor to warrant any special attention. I hope this helps.
