1955 Fhd Bugs Bunny Die Clash - Coin Community Forum

chrisof4 Valued Member United States 274 Posts	Posted 10/05/2019 12:01 am Going through my Franklin half dollars tonight and I am pretty sure my 1955 has the bugs bunny die clash. Too bad the overall quality is so low. I have this at a F grade. Please let me know if anyone disagrees with the die clash diagnosis or the grade. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 10/05/2019 12:45 am with Bugs, but you are being a bit harsh on the grade. I'd give it VF-20. Eye Appeal 5/10. With so much open space and large fields there are not nearly as many design elements that can be ranked for a circulated numerical grade. The reverse is more often used for grading simply because there are some high points that help determine grade. Franklin's, Ikes, and Peace dollars all fall into that same category of large fields and fewer design elements and it's almost easier to underestimate any of those. Report this Post to the Staff
