I haven't seen any reference to a no chrome variety for 1950. Would love some opinions.

to CCF. Looks like a environmental damaged coin,like a buried coin found with a metal detector.

Definitely "no chrome".
All 1950 nickels have no chrome, they are made of pure nickel.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Yup, only the 1951-1954 nickels were chrome-plated

I didnt expect it to be super rare. Thought maybe it could be on a 1945 blank or something like that. Seems the weight for the steel and nickel are the same.
