Mexico 50 Pesos 1945, For Grading - Coin Community Forum

Redfox New Member 15 Posts	Posted 10/10/2019 10:09 am I've just come upon this 50 pesos gold coin. It looks to be in uncirculated condition (with some bagmarks). But I'm not entirely sure. So I would like to hear your opinion about its possible grade. Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

GMS5 Pillar of the Community Canada 1530 Posts	Posted 10/10/2019 11:17 am Beautiful Coin. I see no problem except slight scratches under the feet and 1821 that extend out to the rim. The reverse is a MS-66 in my opinion, but the obverse is a MS-65 because of bag marks and dings. So overall, I'd say MS-65. Report this Post to the Staff

Now, I am more than happy whit the condition of the 50 pesos. But I'm a little bit concerned about the scratches below the winged liberty and on the rim. Wouldn't they knock the coin to unc details?
