Hey yall, So I'm fairly new to the coin collecting game. I was recently going through some of my old childhood things and I stumbled on some coins that were left to me by my grandfather before he died. I hadent seen these coins in 20 plus years. Seeing them brought back some great memories and made me want to be able to pass on the same feeling to my kids someday. This happened about 2 weeks ago and since then Ive been hooked lol. Ive been on youtube watching videos and learning as much as I can about everything. Anyways, that Youtube rabbit hole lead me here. Ive heard great things and really hope being a part of this community will help me grow in the hobby. As for my interest, I'm really still undecided. I love the colonial era, but I'm thinking I should start with something more modern and a little less expensive. Well this has probably run a little long, but thanks for having me.
