Picked up this beauty for $5 slabbed. Just curious what you guys think as to grade and how much are submission fees these days lol.

Maybe PCGS and NGC should figure out scratch resistant slabs already. Not one of my favorite coins personally but couldnt pass it up for the price.

I'll guess PR-67, just a stab.

AG-3?

But for real though, I'd venture a PR-69.

Nicks on the obverse and reverse hold this to PF-67

One to put away for a rainy day couldnt pass it up for $5 values at $50 currently but was at $225 Oct. Of 2006 shortly after it was minted been down hill since hoping that the prices on this and a few of my other top pop coins rebound. Know it's more of a novelty with the 10 year recertify but if the price rebounds may be worth having it reslabbed.

A normal submitter it would have been $16 for that coin plus any other shipping and handling charges associated with the submission. The big big bulk submitters it's usually somewhere from like $6-9 a coin

The PCGS slab has been scratch resistant for several years now, it's even water resistant as well.

NGC has a scratch resistant version but they upcharge $5 a coin to get it unless you are submitting at the express tier or higher. I think they're being penny smart dollar foolish by not having that be their standard slab

If the scratches are on the slab, and not on the actual coin, I would consider giving this a grade of PF-68
