This mint mark looks as if it is about 15 degrees slanted on the coin in terms of depth (its orientation is correct in the normal planes). Or to say it differently the base of the D appears to be about 50% thicker (higher?) than the top. There is no sign of impact, and it looks pristine if you tilt the coin and look at it from a heavy slant, but dead on it is very skewed. The coin does not show any real damage or signs of abuse and I would call it AU. I can't get a good image of it at the slant where it looks right. Here are 2 shots of it with the coin flat. I'm not really asking anything here, just thought it was neat.

The other features are not depth-tilted. I have a *very* hard time with doubling vs shadows and such and generally seeing the tiny edge doubling in most pics (I can see the big stuff).

I think maybe the GO'D' doubling above is a casualty to my bad photography. I am slowly learning how to get better pics.

I wish I could show it; if you tilt the coin top of JFK head toward and neck away the mint mark looks perfect. But I can't seem to get that angle in a pic, trying... if I get one I will post it.

There is a small dent/ding just below the midpoint of the GO'D's curve.
