1887 Half Crown And Shilling Help Needed

i have just discovered a 1887 half crown and a 1887 shilling in
silver necklace mounts in a box of stuff that was my nans they seem to be in very good condition and you can easily see all of the
detail these have proved impossible to photograph with my camera
as I am not a coin collector or dealer I would appreciate tips on
how to photograph them,how to grade them and some idea of value
looking on ebay they are jubilee editions.any help will be appreciated thanks

G'day & welcome,
go to the sub-forum on coin photography.
There is plenty of advice there on getting it right.
Basiclly:
1. use a tripod;
2. use the timer on your camera;
3. use optical zoom, not digital; and
... the big one ...
4. get the light right.
The jubilee series were new in 1887, and a lot of coins must have been hoarded.
I collect that year, and there is no shortage of high-grade coins. They still fetch a high-grade price, but. The YH series are much more difficult to find.
