1916 Georgivs V UK Large Cent Found While Half Dollar CRH

I need recommendations on stopping the copper rot. What can I use that won't damage the coin? Report this Post to the Staff

sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21788 Posts	Posted 10/19/2019 07:56 am Not a "large Cent": It's a ONE PENNY. You have obviously found out that they are very nearly the same diameter. The ONE PENNY has about 0.2mm larger diameter. The Half dollar is 3.1 grams heavier, (silver has greater density) 40% silvers (for their melt value), are considerably more valuable than the numismatic value of the British Penny you have, in the condition that it is in.
