Good Morning CCf,

Just want to ask opinion on what mightve cause these lines on the coin if theres a value on it. It looks beautifully damaged to me, specially jefferson's reflection looks like a vintage image on a hologram. Maybe its just me. But yea any insight or comments will be deeply noted.

Thank you!

It's environmental damage. Could be that it laid face down on a lined surface and had pop or something sticky which transferred the lines to the coin.

A light soak in pure acetone would probably remove the lines. Then pure water spray and air dry.

Are those apparent ridges raised or just "imprinted" on the surface?

My apologiez for such a late response. Upon closer inspection for the ridges its on top of the surface. Looks like been rolled with something like a brush but with a flexible steel.tip. its weird that even thou the lines is physclically on top I dont ge how 3)whats weirdl is zthat the how it get on the surface of the coin. Even on the eye area that has slopes. I was thinking maybe its fron the die.
